The One I Will Always Remember
Skylar T.

My dad is an immense inspiration to me. He inspires me very much. And he has inspired me my whole life. He is a very big influence on me. I know that I will always remember him throughout my whole entire life. He tells me to do the better thing if I’m in a bad situation. He has taught me very much through my life and I won’t ever forget what he has taught me. Because what he has taught me is a life long lesson.
One of the reasons my dad inspires me is because he is very strong, and courageous. He is because his parents aren’t doing so well. His mom just had broken her hip, and his dad got really sick, and is still fighting through it. Even though they aren’t so well he tries to ignore the fact that they aren’t. This also shows that he is brave because he is hiding that he is sad. Also my dad hasn’t even really met his real parents, because he was adopted when he was little. But he still sends letters to his real mom. But before he can go around and complain about his problems, he fixes everyone else’s.
Another reason he is an inspiration to me, is because he sets high expectations in academic subjects. Like our whole family has to be in a sport. Also he makes sure we get good grades, and if we don’t he always give a glut of consequences. He also sets high expectations in behavior. Our family doesn’t fight that often and if we do we will get in trouble. In our family we use good manners with each other and with anyone that we are with. We will say please, thank you, and your welcome whenever someone has done something nice.
The third reason my dad inspires me, is because he is always running around crazy, and every minute is very useful to him, yet he can do it all. He has to drive around four kids every night. And I bet our car is really worn out, from how much he has driven around. He’ll drive us to either a friend’s house or to sports. To soccer, volleyball, cheer, or basketball. And at the same time he has to work, and is mostly on the phone. Plus when he gets home he has to make dinner. He is very busy but he doesn’t complain. He also has to wake me up in the morning for school and has a bright and big smile on his face, even though he knows that that day will be a rough one. And he is very responsible to remember to do this every morning and is very responsible to drive around everywhere every night.
The last reason he inspires me is that he always makes things better. If something is wrong he’ll make it better, or if someone is hurt or sad he will make him or her feel better. Whenever I need help in school he is always there for me. Or if I just need someone to talk to if I’m sad about something, I know he will always be there for me. If he comes to talk to me, I’ll be sad at first, but after I would have felt as if I was a little happy leprechaun at the end of a rainbow. He is that funny. I feel very ecstatic when he makes me laugh.
This is why my dad inspires me every minute of every day. He has led me into the good things that I do today. I will never ever forget my dad, even if him and I get in a fight, I know he’ll be there for me. And I will always be there for him. He is amazing, prudent, and an awesome dad. Do you have anyone like my dad who inspires you?
